On the NBC News Wall . . .

Around the time of the debt ceiling debacle I thought to give them . . . And the Public a piece of my mind . . .

"Press outlets like this one, are also responsible for the political dysfunction too! News no longer has any fealty to the truth but to ratings and a 'reality tv' framework.

The sort of 'forced' egalitarian nonsense about 'both sides' or 'Washington this and that' is literally KILLING this country!

You in the press have effectively misinformed the public to gross inefficiency at taking part in the system that has been taken over by greedy oligarchs and plutocrats. And the egalitarian nonsense is not representative of reality, not representative of who is doing what in politics!

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO PARTIES IN WASHINGTON AND WHAT THEY HAVE BEEN PUSHING FOR!

TELL PEOPLE THIS!

What good is 'appearing' non-partisan, or appearing to be 'not taking sides', as it were, if what you eventually disburse to the public for their consumption, for their use for making political decisions, like voting . . . Is tantamount to a LIE!!!!???

What's the use!??

Is it that a certain party won't come on your shows anymore and the ratings would drop?

What happened to public service and for the public good?

TELL THE TRUTH!!

And here is the truth:

THE GOP ARE directly responsible for the slow growth everywhere. Due to their coordinated, united opposition, at the city, state, and national level to programs and policies that have DEMONSTRABLY created jobs and boosted economic returns!

Congress WAS Responsible for raising the debt ceiling NOT THE PRESIDENT. He only signs the law. Congress has NEVER made this an issue until NOW. And the GOP IN CONGRESS DID SO!!!

SAY SO!!

'Washington can't decide . . ."

STOP THE LYING ALREADY!!!

And as the Moody's report said: The lack of revenue and the GOP intransigence is why, the uncertainty that they may do this every time is why, the insistence of the GOP on actions that have been demonstrated worldwide to tank an economy - no tax increases whatever . . . Is WHY!!

For crying out loud, so people make the right decision next year . . . CALL OUT THE PARTY RESPONSIBLE FOR THINGS THAT HAPPEN!

To hell with the ratings, damnit : this country is deteriorating!!!!

Educate the public on basic civics - which body does what, and who's Responsible for the different laws and things that effect people's everyday lives!!

The President is NOT a monarch folks!

He might have campaigned on doing certain things but CONGRESS has all jurisdiction over ALL DOMESTIC LAWS AND POLICY THAT affects you. TAXES, health care, wall street, trade, education, oil subsidies, everything - Congress!

The President REQUIRES cooperation WITH CONGRESS to "do what he said he would do." as a lot of you love saying!

If congress is not complicit with what the President has lined out then he is helpless!

When you in the public send people diametrically opposed to what "you sent Obama to do" or won't even compromise to work with him to come to a sensible middle . . .

Like who arrived in 2010 in both chambers of congress

Then this is what precipitates.

We need to understand how policy becomes law too because people don't get that both houses with almost 600 folks have to go along by majority with what the President wants for it to become law and affect YOU.

The Senate's 100 folks are the final hurdle before the POTUS signs the bill into law.

Where we have the filibuster.

Functionally in the senate, if 60 folks are not for a law then it never gets to the presidents desk.

The GOP have 47 people who are opposed to working with or are against all Obama's policies that "you wanted him to do". So they 'filibuster' or stop anything from getting to him.

Out here YOU wonder "what happened to all the stuff Obama said he would do??! Where's the progress? Why is this not going as far as I want it too??"

Frustration.

It's a DIRECT RESULT of Congress . . . NOT the PRESIDENT!

Think about it: Isn't it a little too easy to blame Him?

I beg all of you: Dig deeper!

But unfortunately the Press won't help you do so!"
