Dimmer . . .

Gift Horses are Getting Their Teeth . . . Cleaned

And George Clooney and I are sitting, watching the phenomenon . . . Bug-Eyed . . . Shaking our heads . . .!

Conservatives have been, in the wake of Rush's implosion, braying about Bill Maher and what he said about Palin and Bachmann at various times.

And some Liberal Women's groups have been JOINING THEM! So much so, that Ed Rendell recently confronted the Obama SuperPac folks with the fact that some actually are demanding that they GIVE BACK Maher's much-publicized contribution.

Tonight . . . I wear My Hoodie . . . and always will . . .

Trayvon Martin was shot to death over the NBA All Star Weekend by a self-appointed neighborhood watchman . . . and yet another important chapter on justice and especially Race in this country is being furiously, passionately written . . .

Schizophrenia . . . And Shades of W.E.B. DuBois

I feel, lately, like I've been standing tied up downwind, while all manner of bigoted incarnations past and present, even germinating forms of the future, are yelled full force into my face.

I'm drenched in the spittle of hateful rhetoric.

And it stinks to high hell.

On Racism . . .

As a Black Man ... I have absolutely been horrified at the level of blatant racial dog whistling ... and even out right racism that has come from the Right ever since Obama announced his candidacy and it has gotten worse!
